I’m closing in on 50, but adventuring like I’m 20! I love skiing, hiking, and running, but I aim to tackle heli-skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, and rockclimbing. I also love cars and road trips to filming locations from my favorite TV shows and movies. I dream of getting a gig as a zombie on The Walking Dead or becoming an American Ninja Warrior.
In addition to this blog, I contribute regularly to SheBuysCars.com, TravelingMom.com, and NetflixLife. I also curate travel and entertainment news, opinions, and my travel photos at TheTVTraveler.com.
Why 100 Routes Across America? Feeling most at home when on the road, I grew up under the impression that the highest form of family fun was driving aimlessly to get anywhere. Today, I take my own family on extended driving adventures, crisscrossing America — from the Jersey Shore to the San Francisco Bay, Niagara Falls to Gulf Shores, AL, and beyond — always ready to veer off the interstate to investigate a quirky attraction or sample a local delicacy. I love road trips and started this blog as a quest to drive portions of every original United States Highway (1 – 100). I’m well on my way and keep track of every route I drive here.

100 Routes Across America is a personal blog written and/or edited by me, Shannon Entin. I accept cash advertising and sponsorship. I accept and keep products, services, travel, press trips, event tickets, and other forms of compensation. Much of my travel is subsidized by destination marketing organizations. This compensation never dictates or influences my opinions, it simply helps cover the expenses I incur as a freelancer. Everything I write on this site is my honest experience, unless otherwise noted.
